After roles as a Sales Representative and Regional Sales Manager with a Pharma company, I joined Allergan in 1999 as a Product Specialist for the Botox® team, just as Botox® aesthetic use was starting to take off in the UK. I met Ron Myers, my business partner, there and we quickly recognised that this was going to be a fast-moving and interesting market. We both left Allergan in 2002 following roles as Business Development Managers to set up our own consultancy business specialising in the aesthetics market.

This was a breakthrough for us as we were now able to look at the whole industry and not just the Botulinum Toxin arena. I have been involved in, and led many new concepts and products to the aesthetic market. I have worked as a consultant to Wigmore Medical, introducing the 'one-stop shop' concept and establishing their equipment division. I have also worked with MERZ Pharmaceuticals, Lifestyle Aesthetics, ABC Lasers and Skin Brands Ltd - all of which have given me a fascinating insight into various aspects of the aesthetic market.

More recently I have been providing specialised consultancy services for individual clinics, helping them to develop their practices and their businesses. I enjoy training and developing the clinic team to operate to the best of their abilities and maximise their earning potential. I am often involved in reception to marketing development, internet presence and new service introduction.

I have spoken at several major meetings in the UK on various topics around developing the whole, or aspects of, an Aesthetic Practice and firmly believe that if we all do this well and with propriety, the potential for growth in this market is substantial.

Training is a passion of mine and I believe that standards across the industry can and should always be continually raised. Every member of the anaesthetic practice is important to its success and growth and I enjoy looking at every touchpoint a practice has with its clients and looking at how it can be enhanced and developed.
