I made the decision to travel to london to visit skin & sanctuary following a glowing personal recommendation from an equally glowing ladyi contacted via instagram. I was after a place that took pride in subtly enhancing a persons natural features and not producing too much of the overly glam look. Soniawas incredibly helpful and accommodating from the moment I first contacted her, and after visiting them today I have nothing but wonderful things to say dr saira was obviously very knowledgeable and talked me through the procedure and all the possible complications, as well as taking her time to answer my questions about other treatments they provide - I never felt rushed and I think I was there for over an hour. I went ahead with my chosen treatment and so far have had essentially zero obvious side effects (Swelling/Bruising etc). I am delighted with the results so far, very natural whilst making a huge difference overall - exactly what I was after! I’m booked in for my review check up in a few weeks and I already look forward to seeing soniaand saira in their lovely hackney office again. Hopefully one day I willbe able to splurge on one of their amazing hydrafacial’s!

Since my Hydrafacial at Skin & Sanctuary I can genuinely see and feel a marked improvement in my skin. Upon arriving at this delightful clinic (which is a true sanctuary), I was welcomed by the lovely Sonia and felt extremely relaxed and taken care of. Firstly, I had a skin consultation with Dr Saira where my face was scanned and images taken to analyse my true skin health and age. Dr Saira reassured me about the unflattering images on the screen, reviewed them in detail and explained the results. Following a discussion about my current skincare routine, products I use and lifestyle, Dr Saira recommended the most effective treatment for my skin type, which was a Hydrafacial. The treatment was unlike any facial I had ever had, the therapist was amazing! She talked me through each stage as she carried out my treatment and made me feel relaxed even though the treatment involved microdermabrasion and red and blue LED lights. I would definitely return for follow up treatments as my face felt so cleansed and soft - I didn’t want to wear make-up for days! The team are extremely welcoming and friendly and more importantly, I felt the difference in my skin, which was more nourished, brighter and my pores had practically disappeared. A wonderful experience with great results.

Ok, here it goes. I’,m a Guyand like Manyguys out there, the thought of caring for one’s face is something more close to an afterthought, or the shower is good enough. I mean we all go to the dentist to get our teeth cleaned, the doctor to for our physical checkups, and the gym to maintain or peak our bodies. However, little attention is paid to the number one first impression making and most expressive Partof us - our face. Men Maythink it vane to consider one’s appearance, but we all know that we think about it. And as time goes by the decisions we made when we were younger and continue to make when we’re older start to show dramatically in the face. What skin & sanctuary bring is a host of experience, methods, tools to educate and treat the largest organ in and on our bodies - our skin. It’s a relaxing and environment where you get treated to the most exquisite sensation of cleaning, washing, micro-scrubbing, invigoration and massage, by far my favourite PartI didn’t know a face massage could be so amazing. You really can tell they are caring experts, like facial ninjas. Both saira and fatema escorted me beyond the gates. You begin with a series of questions, then you get a skin analysis, which reveals all the underlying skin damage that is just beneath the surface, you learn about what regiment is right for you, then you are treated and finally you have the option to take some of their select products home with you. I recommend the vitamin C and face drinks. I look forward to coming back next time I’m in london.
